Being on a tight budget, I really needed a BACK MASSAGER for my ACHING back/shoulder, but the price for other traditional massagers of this style was beyond my budget.

I don't know about other uses, but as a BACK MASSAGER it does as good a job as any other similar type of BACK MASSAGERS.

It does provide some back relief, but it really does not do enough to solve my very painful back/shoulder situation. I don't blame this massager, I would get the same low level of pain relief from any massager.

But if you want a back massager, this one is absolutely just as good as any other. The massage head is lavender and softer than most BACK MASSAGERS, but the color is irrelevant to me, and the slightly softer head of this "Personal Massager" is, for me, preferable to a harder plastic head. -- AS A BACK MASSAGER (not a 'personal' massager) IT IS A GOOD VALUE
This is an economical personal massager that will do the job for you at half the price of an Acuvibe or Hitachi. It is not as powerful but it is well made and probably more suitable if you have fibromyalgia or simply prefer a personal massager that doesn't feel quite as intense.
